2027 Cajun Boil

“The work that they did was back-breaking and labor-intensive work, and to do this work myself would have taken me probably two years to complete, as well as being costly to hire someone to do it. It was remarkable how all of this was accomplished in one, beautiful sunny day! I had so many emotions that day that I could hardly speak! The selfless service, smiles, and welcoming, family spirit of Be the Gift are testaments to the power of God’s love and devotion. I was so relieved, blessed, and comforted by their help on that special day. The staff and volunteers of Be the Gift have truly given me the precious gifts of time with my kids, caring support, a loving community, and a sense of belonging – Thank-you a million times! You have improved our lives and touched our hearts!”

“It was almost unreal. I couldn’t believe the outpouring of kindness and service that your volunteers came with. So many smiles and helpful hands. Be The Gift helped fix things that I would never have had time or tools to do myself. The deck looks so beautiful and we have actually spent more time out there.  It truly was an amazing experience, and I can’t thank you enough.”

“The help I received from Be the Gift is a game-changer! They are amazing and such a blessing! I am honored that I was someone they choose to help. It is hard to put into words how much they truly helped me. The amount they did in just one day would have taken me at least a year to get done. They are amazing and VERY much appreciated.”

“It was amazing to see a small army of people gathered in front of my house and the ringing of the door bell as others joined in throughout the day to help. They cleared debris from my backyard, cut down trees, trimmed bushes, cleaned my gutters, and helped with several unfinished tasks inside the house. To say these people are a gift is an understatement. I am deeply touched by their generosity and kindness.”
